North Star Independent HomeschoolersHomeschool Support Group in Interior Alaska’s Fairbanks North Star Borough , AKNorth Star Independent Homeschoolers (often referred to as NSIH) is a group of over thirty families in Interior Alaska’s Fairbanks North Star Borough and surrounding areas who take no financial assistance from any government or public source to educate our children at home. We get together for non-financial support, outstanding opportunities to build thriving homeschools and families, and to stand together to exercise, strengthen, and protect our legal rights, as Alaskan parents, to fully guide and direct the education of our children.
