Parent Educators of Augusta County HomesHomeschool Support Group in Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta County, VAPEACH is an organization that provides support and encouragement to parents who are teaching their children at home and to those who are considering homeschooling. The organization is Christian in orientation, and is guided by the Word of God, the Bible. In God’s Word we are commanded to “provoke one another to love and good works†(Hebrews 10:24) and to “train up a child according to God’s Word†(Proverbs 22:6). This group was founded in 1989 with two main goals. The first was to provide social, educational and athletic activities for our children. The second was to establish a peer support system for home schooling parents in Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County. We currently offer regular support group meetings, monthly newsletters, organized extracurricular events, a teen group and a wide variety of field trips.
